Last updated August 30, 2026. This page summarizes how Blade collects, uses, and protects information across the platform.
Information we collect
Blade collects account information, booking and customer records processed through a tenant account, usage and device data, and payment-related metadata needed to run the service.
Booking customers may also provide optional information such as waiver details, phone numbers for reminders, and session-related preferences.
How we use information
We use information to provide and improve the service, process bookings and payments, send notifications, support venue operations, and maintain platform security.
We also use operational and usage data to understand product performance and diagnose technical issues.
Analytics and advertising measurement
Blade's marketing websites use Google Analytics, Google Ads measurement, and PostHog to understand visits, page interactions, campaign attribution, completed walkthrough requests, and where people encounter friction. Google services may use cookies, device information, and advertising click identifiers according to their settings and applicable law.
PostHog product analytics also runs on public tenant booking pages using anonymous, session-only storage. Tenant page text and element attributes are masked from automatic capture; form inputs and network details are blocked from replay; and replay is disabled on customer records, confirmations, payment links, profiles, forms, event management, and other customer-specific routes.
A completed walkthrough request sends only non-identifying lead categories to analytics services and a conversion signal to Google Ads. Blade does not include names, email addresses, phone numbers, payment details, booking identifiers, or free-form messages in analytics events.
Service providers and disclosures
Blade may share information with service providers such as Stripe, Square, Resend, Twilio, Supabase, and hosting or infrastructure providers as required to run the service.
We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect our rights, or in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
SMS messaging
When a guest opts in to SMS during booking, Blade may send confirmations, reminders, waitlist notifications, group invites, or post-visit review prompts related to that booking.
Guests may opt out at any time by replying STOP, and message or data rates may apply depending on their carrier plan.
Retention and security
We retain data for as long as necessary to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business needs.
Blade uses technical and organizational safeguards such as encrypted transport, access controls, and tenant data isolation. No internet transmission is perfectly secure.
Your rights
Depending on jurisdiction, individuals may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or export personal information, or to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
